“Alex was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. He was very enthusiastic about showing off Sintra and informing us about the history. The Jeep was fine although the seating in the back was not comfortable. The only negative is the price - we paid $265 for 2 people and then still had to pay for our admissions to 2 things - another 25€ - and our lunch 9-12€, cash only ( which I don’t recall being told that we would need cash). “Awesome tour!! The park & gardens are absolutely beautiful & so peaceful which is appreciated you can deal with the groups of people at the palace. Our guide, Rute really made the trip. She was so friendly & informative. Stops along the way to Cascais we enjoyed beautiful ocean views. Due to an Iron Man Race in Cascais we were not able to see much of it but those are circumstances beyond control. This tour is a must do & definitely ask for Rute!”
